Da Nang intends to let high school students back to school at the end of November

At the meeting of the Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control in Da Nang on November 15, Ms. Le Thi Bich Thuan, Director of the Da Nang Department of Education and Training, stated that 97% of teachers and high school students had received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccination. "They are preparing for their second dose", Ms. Thuan said.

After consulting with the Department of Health, municipal officials plan for grade-12 pupils to return to school on November 22. Students in grades 10 and 11 will return to school on November 29.

Only students in areas where the pandemic has reached level 2 will go back to school. The Da Nang Department of Education and Training requires schools in level-3 pandemic areas not to open; pupils and teachers in this area have not yet returned to school.
