Vietnam recorded 8,176 new cases of COVID-19 and 5,257 more recovered

From 4:00 p.m on November 13 to 4:00 p.m on November 14, the National COVID-19 Case Management System recorded 8,176 new infections of SARS-CoV-2 (a decrease of 288 cases compared to the previous day).

Among the new infections, there were 13 imported cases and 8,163 domestic cases in 52 provinces and cities. 3,705 cases are in the community.


The provinces and cities that recorded cases are as follows: Ho Chi Minh City (985 cases), An Giang (695 cases), Dong Nai (674 cases), Binh Duong (623 cases), Dong Thap (382 cases), Binh Thuan (369 cases), Tay Ninh (332 cases), Soc Trang (299 cases), Vinh Long (288 cases), Tien Giang (274 cases), Kien Giang (274 cases), Bac Lieu (273 cases), Ca Mau (243 cases), Dak Lak (228 cases), Khanh Hoa (209 cases), Ba Ria - Vung Tau (204 cases), Binh Phuoc (184 cases), Can Tho (146 cases), Thai Binh (134 cases), Tra Vinh (134 cases), Ben Tre (98 cases), Long An (95 cases), Thua Thien Hue (93 cases), Hanoi (88 cases), Hau Giang (69 cases), Ha Giang (56 cases), Dak Nong (52 cases), Thanh Hoa (47 cases), Phu Tho (46 cases), Nghe An (44 cases), Quang Nam (43 cases), Bac Giang (41 cases), Quang Ngai (39 cases), Ninh Binh Thuan (37 cases), Quang Ninh (37 cases), Nam Dinh (36 cases), Gia Lai (36 cases), Quang Tri (35 cases), Bac Ninh (32 cases), Binh Dinh (30 cases), Quang Binh (29 cases), Tuyen Quang (27 cases), Ha Nam (21 cases), Dien Bien (20 cases), Da Nang (18 cases), Phu Yen (16 cases), Lang Son (9 cases), Ninh Binh (9 cases), Thai Nguyen (4 cases), Cao Bang (3 cases), Yen Bai (2 cases), Ha Tinh (1 case).


The localities where the number of infections decreased the most compared to the previous day were Tay Ninh, Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Dinh. The localities that recorded the highest number of infections compared to the previous day: An Giang, Binh Thuan and Dak Lak.


In the fourth outbreak (from 27th April 2021 to present), the number of new infections recorded in the country is 1,021,493 cases, of which 860,494 patients have been declared cured. There have been no secondary infections in the area in the last 14 days in three provinces and cities: Yen Bai, Bac Kan, and Cao Bang.


The localities with high cumulative infections in this outbreak are Ho Chi Minh City (447,428 cases), Binh Duong (243,497 cases), Dong Nai (78,073 cases), Long An (36,536 cases), and Tien Giang (20,780 cases).
